We join the families in their hours of grief. It is a tragedy which
needs to be condemned, and the culprits punished.
But at the same time it leads to another question. Why people turn
terrorists? Is it for sadistic pleasure? Or is the way they intend to
communicate with the world? Definitely a wrong way to do that, but at
the same time, definitely, there are people out there amongst us,
around us, who are perhaps NOT BEING HEARD.
There are long drawn pent up angst against the power; there are issues
of poverty, unemployment.
so-called trivia of marginalised people around the world can no longer
be swept under the carpet, and the need is to develop empathy and a
system of communicating with them to resolve the contentious issues.
