One of the important aspect experienced by young women: -
When they are in family-way at a particular phase, they have to take long leave, the question is whether there will be a discontinuity or the employer will accommodate these long period of absence otherwise, it carries many personal and social problems to the women. We feel that this aspect needs to be studied.

Dr Kalam's views reflects his concern about the baby and also the mother. Since Dr Kalam himself has chosen to respond on this vital issue, we would like to carry his views in our August issue and also few constructive suggestions from members.
I will be happy if members, particularly lady members share their views on this very important issue.
