Fw: [prpoint] Image crisis - Knee jerk action of Jet Airways - Agoodcase study for brand/PR Managers

I think it was a carefully orchestrated show by Mr. Goyal to put pressure on Govt to provide sops for airline companies(as the last two days have revealed) A natural move post cartelization (Jet-Kingfisher alliance)One can debate the PR disaster but probably excellent business move!

Even smaller organisations know that employees need to be forewarned. Therefore Jet's abrupt handling(not sending cabs to unsuspecting employees) is a bit hard to stomach under the circumstances.....Jet was probably hoping for just this response from employees and subsequent blow up of events by media.
