[prpoint] Re: Image crisis - Knee jerk action of Jet Airways - A good case study for brand/PR Managers

Hi all

How can more than 900 people be sacked without the knowledge of
Naresh Goyal? There was no notice served. If the employees were
forewarned they would have been mentally prepared. Naresh goyal tells
the media that there was no pressure on him to take back the
employees. The civil aviation minister clarifies that he had indeed
told Mr Goyal about the need to reinstate the employees. Each step
has been a PR disaster and resulted in the erosion of brand value.
