Dear Sir, Oct 2008 ezine on cybercrimes has come out very well. It is now the most appropriate time for this topic. Every day we are receiving news on the subject and are worried about the safety of our accounts in banks. Mr Vittal's observations are really thought provoking. It is a good lesson for those who use the latest technology. His reference to Lord Vishnu is apt for the topic of discussion. Like Lord Vishnu, Technology creates fear and destroys fear. Also the list of Do's and Dont's and how to handle ATM card transactions are really worthy. I would suggest that these helpful points should be displayed at every ATM centre and also at the point of sales where we use our credit / debit cards. I would like to place on record the excellent Cartoon done by Triambak Sharma. This reminds me of the famous R K Laxmans daily cartoon in the TOI.
