Mr P.N. Venkataraman is quite right when he says that a large number of officials of the public sector banks who are known for their customer friendly attitude are leaving these banks out of frustration. Many of those who are left behind are obsessed with facts, figures and achieving targets. This is one reason for which customers are not getting fast, prompt and satisfactory service from the banks.
This is very unfortunate.
May be the public relations departments of these banks can collect feed back from a cross section of customers and then devise ways and means to improve the situation.
