A.R. Rehman, Gulzar and Resul Pokutty have done it in the Oscars and made us proud as Indians.
First, the successful Chandrayan Mission by the Indian scientists followed by the victorious Indian cricket tour of Sri Lanka, Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bopathy winning the Australian Grand Slam in Doubles and at last this multiple win at the Oscars. Any Indian will rejoice at these momentous achievements.
Our detractors may try to dampen our spirits by serial bomb blasts in our cities or plant divisive plots to weaken the fabric of Indian democracy. But no one can stop the Indians from marching forward and attaining new glories every day. The world may be suffering from a global recession, but there is no recession in the Indian talent pool.
