"General Elections - Role of Media" is the theme on which Global Forum for Public Relations in association with PR Committee of FAPCCI is organising a seminar on 21st April 2009 at 10.30 am at Surana Auditorium, Federation House, Red Hills, Hyderabad.
Eminent Media professionals & Senior level Civil Servants will present their angles for discussing the issues like (1) Populist and regressive schemes in manifestos (2) Casteism and Religion in elections (3) Voting awareness (4) Corruption in election process & (5) Reporting violence.
Mr M B Jayaram, Chairman Emeritus & Chief Mentor of Public Relations Council of India will be conferred with "Golden Triangle Award for 2008-09" for his contribution to professionalism, ethics and spirituality in public relations at the seminar. It is in the wake of GFPR's foundation day. The recipients of this award are Sri K Srinivasan, Chairman & CEO, Prime Point Foundation, Chennai for the year 2006-07 and Sri Yogesh Joshi, National President, Association of Business Communicators of India, Mumbai for the year 2007-08.
