[prpoint] IS there any way to stop negative publicity through SMS

Today i received a SMS saying "Fwd this message to all you care..Do not drink new ......(soft drink)it contains carcinogenic(E211,E224) FAT of PIG causing swine flu. Please dont delete before u forward.."

Wish to know if these kind of bad mouthing will have an effect? is there any way to stop such smses?
