Dear all,
Dr RV Chandravadan, IAS, Project Director, AP AIDS Control Society described Public Relations as a "Knowledge based function" at the "National Public Relations Education Day" celebration jointly organised by Hyderabad Chapters of PRSI & GFPR. In his keynote address on the theme "Public Relations Education - a prerequisite for excellence in professional practice", he advised PR practitioners to make an analysis on Public Good vs Private Good before taking up any task. He wanted that PR education ought to be stakeholder-oriented.
Dr K Nageswar, Member of AP Legislative Council (Journalist, Teacher, Analyst, Psephologist) who attended the function as Guest of Honor pointed out that there are alarming differences in the dynamics of theory and practice of public relations and suggested to constantly endeavour to bridge the gaps in communication, because effective communication alone can fecilitate both Journalists and PR people to work against deadlines and reach goals.
Later, the PR Education Day witnessed felicitation to the following Teachers and Students.

The program was steered by Rajayogi BK Karuna, National President, GFPR; NL Narasimha Rao, Past National Vice President, PRSI flanked by KRK Chary, Chapter Chairman, PRSI, Hyderabad chapter and Mumtaz Fatima, Chapter Chairperson, GFPR, Hyderabad Chapter.
