Golden Triangle Public Relations Model
(Professionalism, Ethics & Spirituality)
A five –day National Media Conference 2009, based on the theme 'Promoting Spirituality for Peace and Development: Role of Media" is being organized by Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya & Media Wing, Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation at Shantivan, Mount Abu Road, Rajasthan from September 11th - 15th, 2009.
Media is the lifeblood of public relations. Media and public relations are intertwined in reaching the public with messages for peace and development. Against this background, the Global Forum for Public Relations in association with Media Wing Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation, as part of the media conference, is organizing a National Round Table on the Golden Triangle Public Relations Model: A New Mantra For Excellence in Public Relations, on Sunday, 13th September,2009 from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. at Shantivan, Mount Abu Road.
Recent corporate frauds to the tune of Rs.7000 crores have brought to light the need for corporate ethics and spiritual values in corporate governance along with professionalism. It is in this context, our Founding Member Dr.C.V.Narasimha Reddi , Editor, Public Relations Voice has not only evolved a new model but also brought out a special issue of Public Relations Voice on the Golden Triangle Pubic Relations Model.
Public relations in India has grown quantitatively. It is yet to grow qualitatively. The need of the hour is professional excellence with ethical and spiritual values as a measure to serve the corporate world and society with all credibility. In fact, corporate ethics and public relations ethics must go hand-in-hand. Spirituality however, empowers and governs one's own life and one's own action. Spirituality begins with the understanding of self. Therefore, spiritual dimension is superior to other dimensions of our life. It imparts human values such as truthfulness, love, compassion, fearlessness and spirit of service which are essential attributes for success of those who work in public relations discipline to serve the cause of stakeholders' interest.
The Golden Triangle Public Relations Model has been developed on three basic elements – Professionalism, Ethics and Spirituality in tune with the Indian environment. As of today, most of the professions and professional bodies aim at improving only professional skills without any reference to professional ethics and spiritual values. As such the new model combines these three elements for the success of public relations profession. If debated extensively and experimented intensively, this may emerge as a good Indian public relations model worth emulation throughout the world.
Lodging and boarding for the delegates at the venue FREE. There is no registration fee as well. Public Relations Managers, Management and Ad. Executives and Media Persons desirous of participating in the Round Table are requested to register their names in advance.
