RE: [prpoint] The Way Forward for PR in Asia

Dear Mr Mukherjee,

Thanks for the skeleton.

Would you also consider including a portion on whether Communications has really succeeded in earning a seat at the table?

And the dangers of being marginalised - or remaining marginalised, as the case may be – if one fails to achieve this?

Best regards,

Sukanti

Here it is, Sukanti:

·         Focus of PR in Asia in 2010 and beyond – challenges and opportunities

·         Is the service provided by PR consultants and/or PR agencies adequate?

·         What should be the ideal role of PR in Asia and how can we get there?

·         Are PR professionals leading IT or is IT leading PR? How can they work together for effective results?

·         How can we optimise our partnership with print and electronic media?

·         Are we getting enough from the professional associations in PR? Will a global level cooperation between associations help? If yes, thoughts on how it can be achieved? (For instance, work being done by Global Alliance in this regard)

Contributors will of course receive due credit.

Warm regards,

Bish
