Many of us do encounter challenges while making presentations to clients. They could range from lack of proper briefing from clients to blind commitments from PR practitioners side! For instance, one of my friends told a banker that he could do stop media from writing nasty stories by hook or crook!

[prpoint] Of Presentations and Problems
In another case, a prospective client wanted to know as to how many clippings from top newspapers that I could guarantee.
I for one firmly believe that many corporates do not understand the functioning of the media and hence they tend to have pre-conceived notions. This is exactly why some of us do insist on media familiarisation sessions with clients before embarking on PR plan of action.
Can forum members chip in their experiences and suggestions for the benefit of PR Practitioners on the one side and clients (or bosses, for that matter!) on the other?
