just to add perspective and context.
human beings by nature and whoever they are are flawed in some way or other and there is both good and bad in all of us.
by definition there is no such thing as a fully clean human being or perfect human being.
we all need to motivate ourselves to live to the best ideals inspite of our flaws and not because we dont have flaws.
very few across human history have crossed this boundary and considering current soceity the chances are even more remote today than ever before.
when a place is full of dirt and squalor it does not matter how clean a person who comes to live there is. sooner or later he will be dirty but he or she was not dirty to begin with.
like Ujjwal said focus on the larger issues and let people become secondary.
In Mahabharata, Bhishma says "dharma is sukshma, 'subtle and always not visible or clear'.
