Subject: My social media talks in Mumbai and Delhi this January
Dear friends in India and friends with connections to India:
As part of the Columbia Journalism School's Centennial celebrations, I am giving free, public social-media talks in Mumbai (Jan 8) and Delhi (Jan 10) - in both cases, being joined on stage by terrific journalists who studied with me at Columbia (Mallika Kapur and Naresh Fernandes in Mumbai; Barkha Dutt in Delhi; making remarks in Delhi is Sanjeev Bikhchandani, founder of Naukri.com).
I'd be grateful if you can forward this email to folks in Mumbai and Delhi - anyone interested in journalism, social media, etc, is welcome, including students. RSVP required for the events, which include receptions.
If you're on Twitter, here's a sample tweet - Social media talks in Jan in Mumbai & Delhi w/ @ColumbiaJourn & @Sree (+ @BDutt @MallikaCNN @TajMahalFoxTrot @sbikh): http://bit.ly/cujindiatalks
Please keep in touch - I hope to see you in January or on a return trip... Unfortunately, because of this short trip, I am unable to visit other cities this time.
Many thanks, Sree
