[prpoint] PR & Political spokespersons

 

BJP leader Advani prases MP Chhtisgarh CMs and media creates controversy. When TV Channels debate this issue, I found it strange that Congress party representatives taking part in it and com8ng under attack

From PR point of view, their presence in such issues is uncalled for. The Congress should have treated this as BJP' internal matter and stayed away.

The I B minister has been frequently commenting on this leadership issues on BJP. Such unwarranted media intervention gives a handle to media to attack Congress and expose its failure to project  a leader who could be PM.

As Congress has imnumerable spokespersons, they tend to appear on channels on all k8nds of issues, relevant and irrelevant.

From PR management point of view, I fell that more discretion is called for and party should field spokespersons selectively.
