The concerned anchor is certainly behind times. He has this false perception is googling is like using wikipedia. Or probably he meant wikipedia. In anycase he made a fool of himself. But I do believe he does not care, either way. .
There is nothing to debate about pro or against google. It probably the best search engine and provides info a speedy fashion. The comparison between googling and non googling will be like comparing matchstick and rubbing stones to create fire.
