Dear Sri Srinivasan

I became very emotional to watch the 'Mangalyan' piercing through the skies to reach the Mars. I concur with every word of your happiness and complements for our Scientists. Every Indian is of course has to feel proud over this grandest and most significant Scientific achievement.

Dear friends,

Shot into sky, heaven-wards on a Mangalwar, the Mangalyan is sure to explore the Red planet, Mars, i.e. Angaraka aka Bhumi Putra. Being the Greek God of War and the Roman God of Agriculture and also reckoned with the month March, findings on Mars in this mission may be of great help to humanity.

Compared to successive missions to Mars since 1965, it is believed that this journey may throw further facts in unmasking the 'Face on Mars' too.

Congratulations to Indian Space Scientists.

Indeed launching this mission indicates what we are capable of. Kudos to ISRO. More and more youth should become scientist as I am seeing trend among youth for easier options. Rgds

Subject: [India_Vision_2020] India begins journey to Mars - Saluting ISRO scientists - Proud day for India :)

hi all

Every Indian feels proud of our ISRO scientists for their successful launch of PSLV C25  vehicle and their Mars Mission. Braving all the challenges, our scientists have launched the PSLV successfully at 2.38 pm today.  The satellite has now entered the earth orbit.  Shortly, it will start its journey towards Mars and  enter Mars orbit by Sep 2014.

This Mars Mission will help the world to understand more about Mars.  With this initiative of 'Mangalyaan', India will become the fourth country to send satellite to Mars, next to US, Russia and European Union.

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh announced this project on 15th August 2012 and our Scientists have completed this project successfully within 15 months.  In another 300 days, the satellite will enter the Mars orbit.

Let us congratulate our ISRO scientists, who have placed every Indian in the 'proud orbit'.
