PR discussions: [prpoint] Workshop & Launch of Chapter in Chennai by GFPR

GFPR Chennai Chapter, on the day of its launch on 9th May 2009, is conducting a one day UnConference on "Communication during recession" from 10 am to 5 pm at Brahma Kumaris Retreat Centre, Sriperumpudur near Chennai to discuss topics viz., (a) Innovation in communication strategies, (b) media communication during recession (c) use of social media during recession (d) client servicing during recession (d) changing audience (f) changing markets. Transportation will be arranged from the City to reach the venue (1 hour journey). We want to make the learning in a relaxed manner.

Since it is an UnConference the sessions will be moderated by volunteers like Narrendiran, Sakthi, Veena and others.

Corporate communicators, Agency professionals, Govt PR functionaries, PR & Communication students, CEO's etc are expected to attend. Experts from all over the country will address and interact with the participants over phone. (We plan to request Madan Behal, Chairman, Adfactors PR; Chandra Mouli, CEO, Blue Lotus; Tushar CEO, Turtle and Hare; T N Ashok, Corpcom Consultant; S Narendra, Former Information Advisor to PM for interaction over phone. B N Kumar, President, Concept PR has promised to participate in person) )

Members in the PR groups are welcome to attend the workshop. There is no entry fee for any of the programs organised by GFPR. Outstation participants will be provided accommodation and food.
