Any CRM solution can do this. What you are suggesting is essentially database management which most organisations deploy to manage customer databases. Leaders are Salesforce and Microsoft, but there are other options as well.
There is also a very effective web based brand measurement tool created by an INSEAD prof. I can get more inputs if you are interested.

Subject: Re: [prpoint] Software for Public Relations... Any clue?
Dear Friends,
I am meeting a software firm for making a Public Relations Agency Management software very soon.
Till now, We have been managing our routine affairs in Excel and Tally (Liscenced Versions)
Those of you, who are using a software, please answer my queries, It would be of a great help:
- How has been your experience with a software? Does it really work or after sometime the enthusaism is lost because of lack of awareness about softwares?
- What platform you've been using? For example - To be used on the net or for your computer only?
- Is it a very costly excercise? (Costly is a reference say more than 50,000 INR for one time and then 10-15K per annum, I can not spend.)
- Is it too tidious an excercise? Scope of work defining is a very difficult task to the people, who have never been into PR.....
Please spare some time and reply, may be this interaction would help the group.
Thanks and Best Regards
