Dear Mr Srinivasan,
Good day
I must thank you for taking such initiatives, involving the PR professionals in debates about the associations and your sum is encouraging for all of us to understand the practical approaches to the growing need of the hour for PR practioners. If you have noticed from the discussions on the net we found very few have come out to give their suggestions or participation. We talk of net savy we need to use it. Everyone has great potential / ideas, youngesters have brillance of thoughts with net savy solutions. They can advise on the net to use these models enabling to benefit all.
You have made lot of initiatives on ezine and other forums. Pr point can initiate a panel discussions with youngesters for their involvement into taking the leadership atleast with participation. you are right with facebook and twiter but how many of them who are on these sites have responded to your discussions. So, they are in their ownway of that field , but how can we have their participation is of importance so as PR can energise and play a real great role with the times of age. Otherwise , as suggested by you no one is concerned about hearing lectures and meets. I too agree with it. I think, you can be of great source of inspiration for the promotion of removing these barries between old and young generations.
So, new thoughts are needed or a net forum on this exclusively method is required to meet and chat initially so as we can build the base for broader perspective of professional friends which can turn into reality of our dreams into success of PR fraternity.
with warm regards
