I had posted a brief complaint lodged with ICICI on the above.

There is more to it.

When I failed to use my Credit card to book airline tickets online, I made the airlines to find out the reasons.Also after trying ICICI phone banking for 3 hours, I could speak toa human voice.What I got for my pains was shocking.

Airlines informed me that they were having problems with ICICI,HDFC cards as they were not ready with PIN arrangements.

ICICI phone banking informed me that theywere having technical difficulties and would revert after 24 hours.This after I had managed to generate a PIN from Visa 3D secure from ICICI website.

I also find  that HSBC does not have facility for online PIN generation.

What is RBI doing to such entities failing to comply with its instructions?
