Often we encounter queries from prospective clients on the PR Standards that we follow. Considering the fact that hardly any PR company enjoys ISO compliance, and that none of the PR associations have any standards displayed n their web sites the task of answering such questions becomes even more difficult. Can we all PR professionals put together a Charter of Ten standards? I welcome suggestions from across to help put together a charter. To begin with, may I suggest one standard? Pl suggest corrections as you deem fit.
1. We always strive to uphold the Right To Information of our target audiences without violating the confidentiality clause. The Right to Know has to be read with the need to know.
