Your Jan 2010 issue of ezine focussing on 'Education Loan Schemes' deserves a big support. Sorry, I missed the chain of interaction when it was released. Better late, than never.
Education is not 'expenditure'. It is an 'investment' of the State on its Human Resources.
Successive Governments have started realising this fact.
It must be the reason, a very few, but fast developing countries of the west have long back made 'education' and 'health' as the state's responsibility and they are cherishing and started reaping the fruitful results.
I wish your 50th issue on 'Unsung Heroes' all the best.

Yesterday, we have released an exclusive interview with Dr K C Chakrabarty, Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India on Education Loan in www.poduniversal. com. Among other things, he assured that no deserving student should be denied education opportunities for want of funds.
Our Jan 2010 issue of ezine will focus on Education Laon Scheme in India. We will be including all the relevant information for the aspiring students and would serve as a guide.
Inorder to understand the real issues of the deserving students, we have designed a quick survey format. If you find any of the deserving students were denied education loan on flimsy grounds or if the Banks were /are demanding collateral security / third party guarantee for small loans upto 4 lakhs (in violation of IBA guidelines), please provide the detailed information in the following survey link. We will also take up with RBI Deputy Governor for their review.
You may also circulate this link to all your contacts and groups, so that many deserving students who were denied education loans by banks on flimsy grounds may register their views.
